Excellent as always, the environment of the shop is amazing. During my tattoo, half of the artists were just chilling and watching, which made the tattooing process so enjoyable. Carly is my girl, and I would personally take a bullet for her as long as she promised to tattoo my corpse for the funeral. Can’t recommend enough!

Carley is an absolutely amazing artist and human. She was so sweet and patient with me while she worked on a large chest piece for me. If you want a caring and incredibly talented artsit, she's the one! Everyone at the shop is great too. Just a 10/10 experience overall.

Very impressed with my experience at Ophidian and my tattoo artist, Heather. The shop is so beautiful. It’s exquisitely styled, cozy and full of curiosities and whimsy. I could’ve likely spent hours looking around at their collections, art and books. You can tell they’ve put time and thought into the pieces they’ve curated to be both functional and decorative. It’s clean, smells great and is odd and lovely. It’s perfect. While I was being tattooed there was another t working in a client in the same space. Despite it being open, I did feel that the space was intimate and private. Heather was AMAZING. I could not have imagined this tattoo better. It’s perfect. She’s obviously very talented and skilled and also wonderful to talk to! I will absolutely seek appointments with her in the future and at Ophidian. I found pricing to be very fair. I appreciate their booking process and that they value their time and energy and are selective! It definitely is not somewhere where you should expect to walk in for a day of appointment. (Though I’m sure it happens from time to time). So if you want to book, be sure to follow their process for doing so. They make it very clear! I waited until they had an open booking period to submit my request and it took a couple of weeks of communication until I was able to book and pay the deposit. All in all, amazing shop here in Columbia! Also worth mentioning that they contribute to some seriously valuable and critical organizations here in the area. And I big support that 🖤🖤

I couldn't be happier. I've been designing and tweaking a tattoo for 3 years. My main issue has been trying to find a studio to go to. Now there are a ton in this area but we were still kind of new here and I just wasn't sure of their reputations or who would be best for my design. I kept hearing about this particular parlor online but it seemed next to impossible to get into. Then a few months back I saw their books were open so I submitted my design after looking through the various artists. I found one, Heather, who looked like this might be something she would be interested in. I was so glad when she accepted it. And then yesterday she made it come true. It was exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. She doubled and triple checked every single thing with me to make sure I was happy. And when it was over I was thrilled. I have just stared at it all day today it looks like exactly what I wanted and she did a phenomenal job on it.

Ophidian is a safe, welcoming space built by incredibly talented women who make you feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated the second you walk through the door. Every artist here is perfectly crafted in their own right. They are wildly skilled, creative beyond words, and deeply kind. You can tell that each one of them genuinely loves their craft and cares about making your tattoo experience seamless, whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth. I’ve gotten countless tattoos here, from multiple artists, and every single one has exceeded my expectations. I trust them completely, with design, placement, and creative freedom, because I know whatever they do will turn out flawless. It’s rare to find a shop that combines this level of artistry with such genuine warmth and professionalism. If you’re looking for your forever tattoo home, this is it. So much love to the Ophidian ladies and this little home away from home that they have created in the little corner of the arcade building!
